PocketStrainer started with a problem our founder knew firsthand. As an engineer who has dealt with kidney stones themselves, they knew the standard collection strainers were bulky, clinical, and impossible to carry without announcing your diagnosis to the room. They set out to design something better: a collapsible, medical-grade strainer that folds to just 3/8 inch and slips discreetly into a pocket.

PocketStrainer pairs a BPA-free silicone funnel with 316 stainless steel mesh — the corrosion-resistant grade most strainers skip — and is made in an FDA-registered facility, so patients and providers can trust what they are using.
